IT Facilities
We love incorporating technology into school life in Kilskyre NS. We have an interactive whiteboard in each classroom. We have just updated these this year. We also have Chromebooks and ipads. The laptops and ipads are used by all classes.
Children can conduct research and complete online games and activities. Children are always fully supervised when using these items. (See A.U.P).
Google Workspace for Education
In Kilskyre N.S. we use this suite for Education. Gives you tools to aid teaching and learning, such as Classroom, Google Meet, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Forms. These allow the children to integrate IT into their learning, for example researching and creating projects and presentations on Google Slides, displaying information on a Doc, etc. Click on the button for some examples of our Google Slides presentations.
Beebots
We have sets of Beebots in school. This is a great STEM activity. We like to buddy up the junior and senior end of the school to work out the puzzles.
